Parts for this system
A Solar Ready tank runs as an ordinary electric water heater until a collector is added, so in that state the parts that matter are the element, the thermostat and the anode.
- Hot Water Element Bolt-on Incoloy Sickle 3600W
- Universal Hot Water Thermostat 50-80° — while it is running as a plain electric tank
- Robertshaw Auto Reset Thermostat 50-70° — once a collector is fitted, this cuts the booster out while the sun works
The tank also carries a sacrificial anode — magnesium as standard, aluminium where the water is hard — and an 850 kPa TPR valve. Email us for either.
Thinking of adding the collector? The controller, circulating pump and roof and tank sensors do not come with the tank. We carry all of them — email us and we will put a list together for your setup.
