Replacement Solar Hot Water Tank Sensor to suit Solar Power Saxon Closed Loop Solar Hot Water System

The Saxon 400 litre split solar hot water system, and the Solar Power SP400 solar hot water system, are low pressure closed loop systems and require a slightly larger circulating pump. Please contact us to confirm the correct pump for your system before ordering.
This system has an unusual set-up where the electrical circuit controlling the element also controls the solar controller. Because of this, there is no real way of separating your solar components from the electric hot water boost to know whether the solar side is actually working. Often it is not until people look into their power bills that they find the system has not been working for some time.
The best way to fix this system and get maximum gain from the solar is to have your electrician install an external GPO on a different circuit, and install a new Senztek SolaStat-Plus 1-2 Controller, which separates the booster from the solar.
The controller includes:

- 1 x 2.5m tank sensor
- Free thermal heat paste for roof sensor installation
