Technical Reference
The Senztek SolaSmart Lite Controller was commonly used by Solar Ark and Heavenly Solar, as well as several other brands. It was supplied with heat transfer paste and joiners.
Senztek is a New Zealand based electronics designer and manufacturer whose solar hot water controllers were widely used across the Australian market, supplied to brands including Apricus, AAE, Bosch, Edson, Hills, Neopower, Rotex, SolarArk, Stratco, SolarOz, Solarland, Thermotec, Zen and Sky Solar.
Their controller families include the SolaStat, SolaStat-Plus, SolaStat ST, SolaStat WR, AlphaStat, EcoStat, SolaStat-Pool and SolaSmart ranges.
This product is required to be installed by a licensed trades person as per applicable legislation, and be clear that failure to do so breaches manufacturer’s warranty and may result in injury and/or death, may jeopardise applicable insurance policies or may be in breach of the relevant law. Solar Hot Water Parts recommend that buyers check with their local authorities in regards to any specific regulations regarding licensing requirements for Plumbing or Electrical work.
