The Senztek SolaSmart Lite Controller has been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase.

Replacement: Senztek have confirmed the SolaSmart Lite is superseded by the SolaStat 1-2, which Senztek New Zealand list as SolaStat-1-2-WR. In Australia this is our Senztek SolaStat-Plus 1-2 Sensor Controller. Wiring and sensor arrangements differ between the two units, so please email us a photo of your existing controller before ordering and we will confirm the right unit and anything else you may need.

Technical Reference

The Senztek SolaSmart Lite Controller was commonly used by Solar Ark and Heavenly Solar, as well as several other brands. It was supplied with heat transfer paste and joiners.

Senztek is a New Zealand based electronics designer and manufacturer whose solar hot water controllers were widely used across the Australian market, supplied to brands including Apricus, AAE, Bosch, Edson, Hills, Neopower, Rotex, SolarArk, Stratco, SolarOz, Solarland, Thermotec, Zen and Sky Solar.

Their controller families include the SolaStat, SolaStat-Plus, SolaStat ST, SolaStat WR, AlphaStat, EcoStat, SolaStat-Pool and SolaSmart ranges.

This product is required to be installed by a licensed trades person as per applicable legislation, and be clear that failure to do so breaches manufacturer's warranty and may result in injury and/or death, may jeopardise applicable insurance policies or may be in breach of the relevant law. Solar Hot Water Parts recommend that buyers check with their local authorities in regards to any specific regulations regarding licensing requirements for Plumbing or Electrical work.

Delivery Time:

All deliveries are made 8.30am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday by SHWP’s chosen carrier. For orders placed before 3.00pm on a weekday, please allow from the confirmation of dispatch:

  • 4-6 working days for delivery to a capital city in any State;
  • 5-10 working days for delivery to most large regional towns; and
  • 7-14 working days for delivery to other remote locations.

During peak periods (eg Christmas, Easter) delivery may take up to 14 working days.
