This is the seal on the roof sensor where it enters its pocket. Silicone rather than nitrile, because it sits in the hottest part of the system.

When to replace
Fit a new one any time you pull a roof sensor out. They are cheap, they harden with heat and age, and a perished one weeps at the pocket — which then corrodes the sensor you have just replaced.
Fitting note
Seat the O-ring fully and lubricate lightly with water. Do not use petroleum-based grease, which degrades the rubber.
