O-ring alone, or the whole kit?
If the flange plate and bolts are in good order and only the seal has perished, this O-ring on its own is the fix. If the flange is pitted or the bolts are corroded, fit the complete Rheem 204295 element flange and seal kit instead — it includes the flange, this O-ring, the element gasket and all the fixings.
Fitting note
Clean the sealing face back to bare metal and clear any calcification before fitting. Pull the flange bolts up evenly in a cross pattern, and do not over-tighten.
