We carry genuine Rheem elements and the Robertshaw thermostat for the 491 series.
Check your full model code first. The element wattage is set by the letter suffix on the data plate, not by the tank size — G4 = 1.8kW, G7 = 3.6kW, G8 = 4.8kW. A tank badged simply "491250" could be any of the three.

This is a single element tank. The 491 series has one element and one thermostat. The twin-element version is the 492 series, which also takes a top thermostat.
