Before you fit a new one
A blown controller fuse is a symptom, not the fault. The usual cause is a seized or shorted circulating pump drawing more than the controller can supply. If the replacement blows again straight away, stop and check the pump before fitting a third — and never fit a higher-rated fuse to make the problem go away.
If the fuse holds but the controller still will not drive the pump, the relay on the board has most likely failed and the controller needs replacing.
This item must be installed by a licensed tradesperson.
