- 1 × Rheem part 344139 — 25FI 90° flare with nut
What it is for
The pipe starter is the short pre-formed copper tail that takes the connection off the tank or valve and turns it into standard 25mm pipework. Supplying it with the matching flare and nut means the joint goes together first time rather than hunting a flare that fits.
Fitting note
Flare joints seal on the metal face, not on tape or paste. Make sure the flare is clean and unmarked, and do not over-tighten — a distorted flare will not reseal.

All deliveries are made 8.30am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday by SHWP’s chosen carrier. For orders placed before 3.00pm on a weekday, please allow from the confirmation of dispatch:
- 4-6 working days for delivery to a capital city in any State;
- 5-10 working days for delivery to most large regional towns; and
- 7-14 working days for delivery to other remote locations.
During peak periods (eg Christmas, Easter) delivery may take up to 14 working days.
