Suits
Grundfos UPS 20-60 N and other circulators using the G1¼ pump thread into ¾″ pipework. Read the thread on your pump body before ordering — union sizes vary across the Grundfos range and a union that will not do up is the most common wrong order on a pump job.
Union set or union VALVE set?
Grundfos make two similar packs and it is easy to order the wrong one:
- 93107335 — Union set (this item). Plain unions. You will need separate isolating valves, or you drain the system to service the pump.
- 93108132 — Union valve set. Same threads, but with isolating valves built into the unions, so the pump can be shut off and removed without draining down.
If you service this pump regularly, or it sits low in the system where draining is a nuisance, the valve set is worth the difference. We stock both.
Fitting note
Unions seal on their washer or O-ring, not on the thread — no tape or paste on the union face. Make sure the seal is present and seated, and do not over-tighten; the nut only needs to pull the faces together.
