Will this pump fit my system?
Fit is decided by the pump's dimensions and duty, not by the brand on the tank:
- Port-to-port: 130 mm thread to thread, 1" thread connection. Measure your existing pump face to face — if it is 130 mm, this is a direct replacement.
- Maximum head: 2.3 m. Maximum flow: 1.8 m³/h.
- Open-loop solar systems only. Grundfos specify the 15-20 CIL 2 for open-loop solar thermal systems, both flat plate and evacuated tube. If your system circulates glycol in a closed loop, you need a closed-loop circulator such as the Wilo Varios Pico-STG 15/1-7 instead.
- 240V, 3-speed, with the power lead already fitted.
Commonly replaces the original circulator in Solahart, Rheem, Chromagen, Hills, Dux, Apricus, Beasley, Rinnai Sunmaster and Thermann open-loop solar hot water systems, among others. Some pipework modification may be required.

The Grundfos 15-20 CIL 2 housing (Composite In- Line Version 2) is available in composite material, made by injection moulding, using collapsible core technology.
The Grundfos 15 - 20 CIL is new, comes with the original packaging. It is subject to limited manufacturer’s warranty and consumer guarantees as per the Australian Consumer Law.
This product is required to be installed by a licensed trades person as per applicable legislation, and be clear that failure to do so breaches manufacturer’s warranty and may result in injury and/or death, may jeopardise applicable insurance policies or may be in breach of the relevant law. Solar Hot Water Parts recommend that Buyers check with their local authorities in regards to any specific regulations regarding licensing requirements for Plumbing or Electrical work.
