AVG Solar Flow Meter FM15C-2.5 — 1 to 2.5 L/min
The Australian Valve Group inline flow meter is a guide for the plumber when commissioning the installation of a split solar hot water heater. It is built with DR brass for resistance to dezincification, and high temperature seals and plastic components to resist the temperatures found in solar hot water systems.
The 2.5 is a flow rate, not a volume. This meter reads 1 to 2.5 litres per minute and is normally used with evacuated tube systems. The smaller FM15C-1.4 reads 0.6 to 1.4 L/min and suits flat panel systems, which run at lower flow.
