The AVG Quickie R is a complete quick-installation kit for raised storage hot water systems — all the valves, fittings and insulation to plumb the tank, in one box. Suits electric and gas storage systems on raised platforms. 15mm (1/2") connections, lead-free brass throughout.
What's in the kit
- 3-way hot water outlet
- 3-way cold water inlet
- 4-way cross (compression and loose nut)
- NRIBVS-15C non-return isolating ball valve
- TVA15C tempering valve
- PTR drain line union
- 15mm brass plug (caps the 4-way tee where no ECV is fitted)
- UV-stabilised, water-resistant insulation covers for all valves and fittings, as per AS/NZS 3500
Why plumbers use it
Everything in one box — no missing parts on the job. Loose-nut connections cut down on thread tape, every install assembles the same way, and the insulation covers are included to meet state requirements. An expansion control valve can be added at the 4-way tee where local regulations require one.
