Roof sensors are made from high temperature silicone cable and are rated two to three times higher than tank sensors, which are normally PVC and rated to around 90°C. Fitting a tank sensor on the roof will fail.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003chr\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eBefore you order\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you are replacing the roof sensor, check the circulating pump at the same time.
